Bodi Studios Terms & Conditions
Throughout these Terms and Conditions:
"you" refers to the client or any person using or purchasing services from Bodi Studios.
“we” or “Bodi Studios” refers to the business company Bodi Studios.
“fitness services” refers to Pilates, yoga, strength and conditioning.
All enquiries should be sent to our registered email address info@bodi-studios.com.
Registration
- You must register your details online with Bodi Studios to enable online bookings and payments.
- You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire as part of the Bodi Studios registration process.
- You must ensure that all details provided during registration, or at any time, thereafter, are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be made via our website or directly at Bodi Studios.
- All sessions are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bodi Studios staff cannot reserve or guarantee sessions until they are booked and paid in full (either online or at Bodi Studios).
- All payments are taken immediately at the time of booking.
- All fees are payable in advance at the prices communicated by Bodi Studios.
- An official receipt will be issued upon request and sent electronically to your registered email address.
- All bookings can be made up to fourteen (14) days in advance.
- All private sessions may be booked online up to one (1) hour before the scheduled start time.
- All group classes may be booked online until the start time of the class..
- Single session credits are valid for one (1) month from the date of purchase.
- Five (5) session class packs are valid for two (2) months from the date of purchase.
- Ten (10) session class packs are valid for three (3) months from the date of purchase.
- Twenty (20) session class packs are valid for four (4) months from the date of purchase.
- When purchasing credits or class packs, you expressly acknowledge and accept the limited validity period.
Prices
- Prices will be adjusted annually on 1 January.
- All prices are displayed in euros.
- You must ensure that all details provided during registration, or at any time, thereafter, are accurate, complete, and up to date.Health services, including physiotherapy
and medical massage performed by a qualified physiotherapist as part of a therapeutic treatment, are exempt from VAT in accordance with french tax regulations.
- Non medical wellness services, including Pilates, yoga, and other fitness or wellbeing activities not classified as healthcare, are subject to VAT at the applicable rate (currently 20%).
- Products sold by Bodi Studios are subject to the appropriate VAT rate for the product type.
- Where VAT applies, it is included in the displayed price.
- Bodi Studios is registered for VAT purposes under number: FR33848292264.
Cancellations
- A twenty-four (24) hour cancellation policy applies to all services. Sessions cancelled less than twenty-four (24) hours before their start time, or missed without notice, will be charged in full.
- You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire as part of the Bodi Studios registration process.Cancellations and rescheduling may be made via the website. Where a cancellation is valid, the corresponding credit will be returned to the client’s account.
Refunds
- All class credits purchased online and at Bodi Studios are valid for a limited period, as specified at the time of purchase. Expiration dates are clearly communicated at the time of purchase and cannot be extended once expired.
- In accordance with French consumer law, clients benefit from a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, provided no credits have been used during this period. If any credits are used during the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal is waived.
- After the applicable withdrawal period, all purchases are final. No refunds are provided for unused or expired credits.
- Discounted credit packages are non-refundable once they have been partially or fully used.
- AAt its sole discretion Bodi Studios may permit the exchange of a partially used credit package for another eligible service of equivalent value (excluding physiotherapy services). Any exchange is subject to availability, with prior written approval. All requests must be made to our registered email address.
- Exchanges are offered as a goodwill gesture and do not constitute an entitlement. No cash refunds, credits, or monetary reimbursements will be provided for any exchanged or unused portion of a package.
- Where a legal refund applies under French consumer law, clients can request reimbursement in writing to our registered email address.
Physiotherapy / Acupuncture / Massage
- All new physiotherapy clients must complete an initial physiotherapy consultation.
- During your initial consultation, your physiotherapist will discuss your symptoms, medical history and assess the affected area. You are responsible for providing accurate information about your current and previous medical history and for informing
your physiotherapist of any changes to your health that may affect your assessment or treatment.
- Your verbal or written consent is required before any assessment or treatment. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting your right to receive appropriate care.
- To fully assess you, you may be asked to expose the affected area. Shorts are recommended for lower limb assessments, and a bra (for women) during upper body or spinal assessments. You are welcome to bring a chaperone to any appointment.
- We will explain your assessment findings and recommended treatment plan and encourage you to ask questions at any stage of your appointment.
- To minimise the risk of infection, all therapists follow strict infection prevention procedures in accordance with their professional standards. Where invasive or internal procedures are performed, including acupuncture and women's health assessments, sterile single-use equipment,
appropriate protective equipment and approved clinical waste disposal procedures are used.
- Where appropriate, your physiotherapist may use real-time ultrasound (Vscan Air CL) to assist visualisation of muscles and ligaments or provide biofeedback during rehabilitation. Ultrasound at Bodi Studios is not used for diagnostic purposes and does not replace assessment
by a doctor or medical imaging professional.
- Physiotherapy, acupuncture and massage treatments may involve physical activity and carry inherent risks. While we take reasonable steps to provide treatment safely, results and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Fitness Services
- You must complete a health questionnaire before participating in any fitness service.
- Before attending group fitness classes, we recommend completing a Bodi Introduction session with one of our physiotherapists. If you choose not to do so, you will be required to accept the additional declaration set out below.
- All fitness services involve physical activity and carry inherent risks. While we take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment, we cannot eliminate all risks and cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes.
- Pilates, yoga and strength and conditioning classes may not be suitable if you have an injury, medical condition, are pregnant or are in the early postnatal period. You must inform your instructor of any condition that may affect your ability to participate.
Where appropriate, your instructor may recommend that you do not participate and instead
arrange an individual assessment with one of our physiotherapists or consult your medical doctor.
- Strength Reformer, Arc Reformer and Strength on the Mat classes are not suitable for clients with injuries or those who are pregnant or in the early postnatal period.
- Class instructors may occasionally change at short notice. Instructor changes do not entitle you to a refund or replacement credit.
Safety
- You must comply with all safety rules displayed in the studio or provided by any member of the Bodi Studios team.
- You are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing for your session. Grip socks must be worn during all reformer classes.
Fitness Declaration
This declaration applies to all fitness services provided by Bodi Studios, including Bodi Introduction sessions, Pilates, yoga, strength and conditioning, wellness workshops and any other exercise or wellbeing activities.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that:
- You understand that participation in exercise carries inherent risks, including injury, illness, falls, discomfort or aggravation of an existing condition;
- You are physically able to participate safely in the activities you undertake;
- You have disclosed any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or other health concern that may affect your participation;
- You will seek appropriate medical advice if you are unsure whether exercise is suitable for you.
You also agree to:
- Follow all instructions and safety guidance provided by Bodi Studios;
- Use equipment only as instructed and for its intended purpose;
- Exercise within your own abilities and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, illness or unusual discomfort, informing your instructor without delay.
You acknowledge that participation is voluntary, that individual results vary and that Bodi Studios does not guarantee any particular fitness or health outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bodi Studios is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your failure to disclose relevant medical information, follow safety instructions, use equipment correctly or exercise within your own capabilities.
You remain responsible for your personal belongings at all times. Bodi Studios accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to personal property brought onto the premises.
Additional Declaration – Clients Who Decline a Bodi Introduction
If you choose not to complete a Bodi Introduction session, you additionally confirm that:
- You have chosen to decline the session and understand this may reduce the benefits of your training;
- You are fit to participate and are not aware of any injury, illness or condition that would make participation unsafe;
- You will inform your instructor of any new or changing medical condition before or during any session;
- You understand that you may not receive instruction on the safe use of all equipment and will only use equipment that you know how to operate safely and correctly.

Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by French law.
In line with French consumer law, if you experience an issue with the services undertaken at Bodi Studios you have up to two (2) years from when you become aware of it to make a complaint.
Complaints must be in the form of a signed and dated letter addressed to Bodi Studios at; 22 boulevard de la Republique, Beausoleil, 06240, The same letter must also be sent to our registered email address.
If we cannot resolve the dispute amiably, you can access consumer mediation services free of charge.
You have a maximum of one (1) year following the submission of your written complaint to refer to a mediator.
